Get a quick dinner on the table for the kids in less than 15 minutes with this super easy veggie packed pasta

We all need some super speedy dinner ideas when we have to get a dinner on the table quickly for the kids and this recipe is just perfect for those days.
There’s just 5 ingredients and the pasta and butternut squash is cooked together in one pan, saving you time on washing up too!
I used frozen butternut squash cubes which are handy to have in the freezer for meals like this. Much easier than chopping up a whole squash in my opinion but you can use fresh if you like.

- Add the pasta and butternut squash to a saucepan, cover with boiling water and cook then drain.

- Add the cooked butternut squash to a blender with cream cheese, milk, garlic granules and a little salt and pepper to taste.

- Blend into a sauce then pour this onto the pasta.

- Mix well and it’s ready to serve.
Storing & Freezing
This pasta is best eaten immediately after cooking.
However the sauce on its own (without the pasta) keeps well, either in the fridge for up to 2 days or it can be frozen for up to 2 months. Defrost in the fridge overnight and reheat gently on the hob.
