A couple of weeks ago I was craving Gingerbread Ice Cream so I dusted off my Ninja Creami that had been sitting very unloved since the summer and made some. It was delicious by the way!

It got me thinking what other festive flavoured ice creams I could make and I instantly thought mince pie ice cream has to be tried!

How To Make Mince Pie Ice Cream

The recipe is super simple but I’ve included some step by step instructions and photos below. The full instructions with all the measurements are in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

  1. Add sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, double cream and the juice of 1 clementine to a freezer tub and mix.

  1. Freeze for 24 hours then blend on Full and Ice Cream mode.

  1. Crumble in one mince pie then pop back into the Ninja Creami machine.

  1. Blend again on Full and Mix In mode.

And that’s it… super simple! The worst part is having to wait 24 hours whilst the mixture freezes!

You can eat it as it is or serve it up with some mini mince pies for some extra flair.

Storing Ninja Creami Ice Cream

Leftover ice cream can be returned to the freezer in the tub.

Leave the ice cream to defrost for about 10 minutes before eating it. You can also put it back into the machine, blending on a RE-SPIN mode if you prefer it softer.

Ninja Creami Tubs

My Ninja Creami came with three tubs but I bought these extra tubs so that I can keep several bases in the freezer ready to use.

  2. Mix well. I used a small electric whisk but mixing with a spoon is fine too.

  4. Place the tub in the outer bowl, add the lid and install the bowl into the Ninja Creami unit.

  9. Serve with a mini mince pie on top.
